Sidcot’s Got Talent
By Sarah Davies, Co-Curricular Lead
Every year I am blown away by the incredible talent shown on an afternoon that's become a highlight of our School calendar! Performing to so many people at such a professional standard is difficult at any age, and our young people take it all in their stride. To see such talent across a huge variety of acts and styles, from musical numbers to mountain biking and everything in between, is mind-blowing.
Emily W and Nancy L led the afternoon's entertainment with the skill of seasoned professionals, and our amazing Tech Team led by Phil Butterworth; Cameron M, Jasmine C, Ben W, Nat S, Toby D, and Philip B brought the whole thing alive. Sidcot's Got Talent wouldn't be possible without our House Captains and Graduate Teaching Assistants for their planning and enthusiasm and the student & teacher judging panels. A particular shout-out this year must also go to Kseniia, who lost her voice the day before, so she couldn't host the event, but was not deterred and helped pull everything together throughout the day and coordinated all of the acts backstage - what a legend!
Well done again to everyone who took part and, in particular, to this year's champions!
