Carol was a pro-active Old Scholar and a joint Past President of SOSA 1993/94, alongside her husband Tim. Born in Greenfield Massechusetts on 25th December 1940 to parents Egberton Catchpool and Ruth Allason. At Sidcot from 1952 - 1959, Carol was a member of many sports teams at school, including hockey, netball, rounders and even life saving. Off the field and out of the water Carol was also a member of the film society. Last year Carol shared some of her Sidcot Memories with us and I have included a link to this piece below.
As many of you will be aware Carol met her husband Tim holding while she was a student at Sidcot. They were married on the 25th July 1964 at Welwyn Garden City. Carol is survied by her two son's Nathaniel, David and her extended family.
Carol studied Fine Art at Durham University and then went on to do a Diploma in Education at Newcastle University. In her freetime Carol enjoyed Choral Singing with Tim, writing, painting, Quaker work and volunteering with her local Conservation Society. A wonderful lady who will be missed by many.
