It is with much sadness that we announce the recent passing of Juliet Plant, our thoughts are with her family and friends at this difficult time. Below is her entry from The Register: 

Plant, Juliet Moira (artist);  b. Bristol, 4 March 1948; p. Willian Plant and Ruth (Churchill), S. 1959-1965.  Edith Brown Whitney Art Prize, four paintings in Daily Mirror Exhibition of Children’s Art; m. Michael Petty (management consultant) at Tickenham, 14 July 1989, ch. Emily (step-daughter) b. June 1974, Bridget b. Jan, 1981, Jasmin b. August 1982; Diploma in Art and Design, West of England College of Art, Dip.Ed Degree Course in Drawing and Painting, portrait painter and screen printer, part-time teacher.

For the last few years, Juliet lived in Axbridge with her husband, Michael.  She was devoted to her grandson, Rafe, who lived with them as well as her daughter Jaz (Jasmin).  A beautiful, talented and gentle lady who loved her time at Sidcot.
