Congratulations to all the winners of this year's Travel Award which is sponsored by the Sidcot Education Trust. This year we had eight worthy recipients and the winners were:
Olha – Class of 2023
Rufus – Class of 2021
Guy – Class of 2023
Jess – Class of 2023
Maddie – Class of 2023
Elsa – Class of 2023
James – Class of 2023
Tomtom – Class of 2023
Olha is travelling to Costa Rica to work with sloths and help protect turtle nests, Rufus has been fundraising for Amnesty International and as part of this is planning on climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in the autumn. Guy is heading out to Australia to teach windsurfing and assist and teach disabled sailors. Jess is heading to Bali to work with early years children teaching in a local school, Maddie is heading to Germany to work as an au-pair and to improve her language skills, Elsa is heading to Sri Lanka where to work with ‘The Mighty Roar', caring for and educating young children and for a local animal rescue sanctuary. James is heading to Australia to work in the agricultural industry and spend some time working in a Koala sanctuary. Last but by no means least, Tomtom is travelling to South Korea for the SaeManGeum, World Scout Jamboree to work as a member of the International Service Team.
