James has recently completed a 1,318 mile trip over three days across Europe with the 'Driving Ukraine' charity team to deliver a vehicle that is destined for medical work on the Ukrainian frontline.
The 'Driving Ukraine' charity was founded by Fynn Watt, a 23 year old who was inspired after a trip taking a van full of supplies to Ukraine to find more ways to peacefully support those in need. To read more about their projects, please see here.
The charity’s objective is delivering rapid evacuation vehicles directly to the medical corps division of the Ukranian military.
James comments: "Ours was an extraordinary trip which started off as a very jovial road-trip with good friends, but then got more serious as the convoy crossed the border from Poland to Ukraine. Within 30 minutes of our own arrival, the three ambulances we delivered were driven away and the two pickups prepared through the night. By the morning the ambulances were also in the hands of those that require them the most. It’s a small contribution to supporting those affected by the war, which in my view many are overlooking."
