Geoffrey Evens (S: 1960 - 1965)

It is with much sadness that we announce the recent passing of Geoffrey Evens (S:1960 - 1965). Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this challenging time.

Geoffrey's brother Ben has informed us that Geoffrey sadly passed away on the 11th December 2023. He was 76. He had been suffering from Alzheimer's for a couple of years and for the last eight months he had been in a care home in Huddersfield. He became very poorly and was admitted to hospital with multiple medical issues. He slipped away peacefully. Ben would like to thank Wendy Hewitt, who has been instrumental in letting members of his year group know. Below is Geoffrey's entry from the Register of Old Scholars. A fuller account will be shared in due course.
