Sidcotians Connect |
The recent Hong Kong Reunion was a great success, with over 35 Sidcotians, Parents and Friends of the School attending the event at the Mira Hotel. It was a joy to see so many familiar faces attending. The earliest class in attendance was the Class of 1970 and the most recent was the Class of 2020, so a great spread of year groups were present.
We would like to offer a special thanks to current parent, Alex Wassermann and the hotel team, for really going above and beyond with the menu and for all their support with hosting the event. The catering was fantastic again too.
The evening had a real buzz about it, with James Milne (Housemaster of Wing) and Joy Cheung (Head of International Relations) as our enthusiastic hosts. There was plenty of reminiscing from everyone about life in the Sidcot boarding houses, from past pranks to musical preferences and more.
Many thanks to everyone from the event who contributed to our current Newcombe and Science fundraisers. If you would like to make a donation you can do so here.
There was also some additional local meet up’s with James and Joy, for those Sidcotians who had been unable to attend on the night. Many thanks to everyone who attended and to the Mira Hotel team for helping to make our 2023 Sidcotian Hong Kong Reunion such a special occasion.
See below a selection of photo’s from the evening, if you have others you would like to share please email Rachele on alumni@sidcot.org.uk.
