Hope and Imagination Fund
Support our families to continue their Sidcot education

“The two qualities which are most important to children of today are hope and imagination. Hope to believe they can change the world they live in and imagination to find ways to do so.”

Janet Gilbraith, Quaker and Educator, 1986

Recent UK government policy changes, including the introduction of VAT on independent school fees, have added significant financial pressure on families who are committed to providing their children with a Sidcot education. For some, this additional cost has the potential to jeopardize their ability to sustain their children’s place at our School.

We have established the Sidcot Hope and Imagination Fund to provide the vital support our families, and we, need in these extraordinary times for the independent school sector. It will:

🎓 Ensure most students can continue their Quaker education with Sidcot

💡 Maintain a broad range of students at the School

👪 Relieve concerns of parents and pupils

Ensure a future of fairness, equality and opportunity

📊 Protect the life of the School and its economic well-being

Support this vital fund

In the next two years we estimate that the School will need to provide financial support in the region of £670,000, and we are therefore looking to raise 75% of this through our fundraising campaign. The total amount sought is £500,000.

We have already secured support of £330,000 from charitable Trusts and Old Scholars, to whom we are very grateful. We ask you to consider a donation to aid our fundraising campaign and support our students and their families.

We're aiming to raise £500,000.00. So far we've raised £330,000.00
